Hanging Around Music Video Edit

I had the exciting opportunity to edit Terra Twin's recent music video for their single, "Hanging Around". The footage was sent to me as one long, 20-minute clip of digitalised film. I learnt that super 8 film has a tendency to speed up and slow down randomly, so I also had to do a lot of cutting and re-timing shots!

This was a really fun project that I did in my spare time, as it challenged me to think creatively and to tackle timing issues. It wasn't a one-size-fits-all and required a lot of patience.

I was given total free reign to come up with the sequence and order of shots (obviously the iconic egging had to happen at the end though!) And thoroughly loved the autonomy.
